Received my order today and the are sooo beautiful!!!

Today was the mail run: I got, three for my stash including some fabulous purple twill. Four 500 piece , one of which is part of the Frank Lloyd Wright collection. That kind of sucks because I didn't get the memo about that guy until after I bought the puzzle, sad face. Eight packets of , that I do not need, somehow landed in my bag when I was at the store looking for perlite. I have chives, basil, broadleaf sage, cilantro, two lavender for some reason, butterfly weed, and purple alyssum. I didn't buy the worm castings because I have to cross the border with it, and it looks like dirt and dirt is not allowed. Though I'm fairly certain I probably could have got away with it. I'm not going to risk my money though. And my allergy meds came in the mail.

My week is set for success, I've got some some , and some to do, and I'm happy.

I have a quilt project, thats been brewing in my head (& heart ), for a few years.
Lately, its nagging me, louder & louder, to start it.
Its kind of a cross between collage & crazy quilting.

Oh my gosh, I just cleaned and sorted through Fabric and am donating a good 40 lbs worth. It's not anything that I bought, it's all stuff that people have given me and I just can't deal with it anymore. It's a relief.

Ive become addicted to the , thanks to someone on tootville reminding me it existed. Im a beginner and am in awe of what the contestants on the show make in a short time. One episode they had to make a patchwork jacket and make the first.

Well, last night I learnt about chintz which originated in India and how imported print were banned in the early 1800s in Britain to try to save the British weaving industry. Of course, women found a way around the ban and made the most fabulous printed fabric clothes.

Spring and Summer are about brightening everything up. And you can brighten up your bedroom with some selections here. I love the colours and patterns on display. They're super cheery and fun and drive away the winter blues. (Maybe they'd be good for winter too because of this)
