I sorted through my , now I'll actually be able to find things for my projects...
Next steps:
- Pick a pattern, adjust to my measurements (will definitely need shortening at least)
- pick one of my cheap fabrics that's big enough
- sew a (hopefully wearable) sample
If that works out, I can make the same item in one of the more expensive fabrics
I dont know, if you know, that I create the graphics, that make my site so pretty!
After 22 years this one might be my favourite!
The November News newsletter is on the way to inboxes, over the next bunch of hours.
Coming late to the party, I know, but I wasn't aware of both over and NVMe over . Hard to believe, anyone would accept the overhead of TCP for NVMe, but apparently it works remarkably well, as seen on 's talk from about running "PostgreSQL in Warp Speed using NVMe/TCP in the Cloud"
(sorry for the bad image quality)

I found these punch card rolls in the remains of my grandfamilies textile/looming business ca 1920 - 1970. I know that some of my generative artist peers have extensive knowledge about textile fabrication. Does anyone have more information about how these worked

Received my order today and the are sooo beautiful!!!
Today was the mail run: I got, three for my stash including some fabulous purple twill. Four 500 piece , one of which is part of the Frank Lloyd Wright collection. That kind of sucks because I didn't get the memo about that guy until after I bought the puzzle, sad face. Eight packets of , that I do not need, somehow landed in my bag when I was at the store looking for perlite. I have chives, basil, broadleaf sage, cilantro, two lavender for some reason, butterfly weed, and purple alyssum. I didn't buy the worm castings because I have to cross the border with it, and it looks like dirt and dirt is not allowed. Though I'm fairly certain I probably could have got away with it. I'm not going to risk my money though. And my allergy meds came in the mail.
My week is set for success, I've got some some , and some to do, and I'm happy.
Oh my gosh, I just cleaned and sorted through Fabric and am donating a good 40 lbs worth. It's not anything that I bought, it's all stuff that people have given me and I just can't deal with it anymore. It's a relief.
Ive become addicted to the , thanks to someone on tootville reminding me it existed. Im a beginner and am in awe of what the contestants on the show make in a short time. One episode they had to make a patchwork jacket and make the first.
Well, last night I learnt about chintz which originated in India and how imported print were banned in the early 1800s in Britain to try to save the British weaving industry. Of course, women found a way around the ban and made the most fabulous printed fabric clothes.
Hear me out..
