The kitty blanket is finished! I'm so chuffed with it, but also a little sorry to be done it, because it was fun to make. My partner loves it, and asked me to make more for our den. The continue to produce fur, so I see more in my future. This is a blend of Jacob and cat that I spun. It is WARM! The pattern is my variation of the famous 10 stitch blanket by Frankie Brown. Sweden's recycling centres are overflowing with clothes after an EU-wide ban this year on throwing away textiles, leaving overwhelmed municipalities eager to have fast fashion giants take responsibility.

Swedes throw away 90000 tonnes of textiles per year, or 10kg per person. The EU average is 19kg, according to 2022 statistics, up from 17 in 2019.
