The goldenrod is really busting out the blooms in MS now. So I busted thru the brush and braved the ticks & chiggers to collect enough to dye a yard of cotton fabric. Steeped the flower tops overnight. A 15 minute soak the next morning produced this screaming yellow.
Also, this is your friendly reminder that its not goldenrod, an important pollinator plant, thats causing allergies in the US. Its ragweed, which is all green & blooms at the same time.
