Today, for , I'm sharing one of my favorite pieces: a hand embroidered diagram of a cell. All of the lines are chain-stitched, except the nucleus which is french knots and straight stitches.

You can't tell in this photo, but this thread glows in the dark.

I also do this pattern in colorful threads.

What would be a good natural fiber fabric (or other option) to replace the mesh on the back of this seat back It's in really rough shape (worst damage not pictured). I need something that will retain it's shape, be comfortable on a warm day, and can handle getting wet in the rain. Lightweight would be nice too. Plant fibers only please. Maybe I can weave something out of thin cordage
